Podcast: Navigating the Work Place

Jeff is a Project Engineer working for Pacific Gas & Electric at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant located on the central coast of California. He began his career as a field engineer in the hydrogeological industry before making the move to the power industry. Jeff's career in power started with a company that supplied large-scale power plant cooling tower and air-cooled condensers then moved to an engineering consulting firm, where he worked on fossil and renewable energy projects before making the jump to nuclear and then PG&E. Throughout all of these experiences Jeff has learned a lot of institutional knowledge which lends toward his advice to seek the aforementioned institutional knowledge. This knowledge will help those starting off in a new industry or location to navigate technical and administrative details of the job.
