Welcome Back!

The ability to interact with ASME instructors who bring real world experience, examples, and best practices to life in our learning experiences is a major reason learners choose face to face training. Networking with peers is also a valuable part of the time spent together during a course. We are excited to start offering these important courses again in person.

Schedule: This course commences at 8:30 AM and ends at 5:30 PM local time, each day, with breaks scheduled throughout.

Venue: This course will be held at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, AZ in conjunction with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Week.  Please follow this link for hotel reservations.

In this Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Combo Course from ASME you will learn the skills needed to interpret engineering designs and avoid mistakes that occur during the manufacturing process. The common language known as GD&T can help facilitate communication amongst key team members responsible for the production of a part. GD&T is an essential tool for communicating design intent – how the parts from technical drawings have the desired form, fit, function, and interchangeability.

This official ASME learning path is designed to provide attendees with the skills and applied knowledge they need to avoid costly manufacturing mistakes, provide better quality control, and shorten delivery time.

Please review the detailed descriptions and outlines of both courses:

Course 1: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Fundamentals

This official ASME introductory geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) course trains participants to read/create engineering drawings and interpret design intent per the latest version of ASME Y14.5.

Course 2: Applications of GD&T and Tolerance Stacks

This official ASME GD&T applications and tolerance stacks course will train participants on how to apply GD&T to their designs and perform tolerance stacks through authentic case studies. A calculator is required.

Who should attend?

Designers, approver/decision makers, and any personnel who needs to read and/or interpret engineering drawings and their intent. Engineering, designing, drafting, quality control, procurement, tolling, production, purchasing, manufacturing, CAD inspection, and shop personnel.
