ASME Launches CATALYZE Summit to Advance Industrial Innovation and Deployment
ASME has announced the launch of the CATALYZE Summit, a new event designed to bring together engineers, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers focused on deploying innovative technologies across the energy, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. The inaugural summit will take place April 20-21, 2027, in Detroit, Michigan.
The summit is intended to address the practical challenges associated with scaling new technologies, including workforce development, financing, standards, artificial intelligence, policy, and infrastructure deployment. ASME describes CATALYZE as a forum focused on turning technical innovation into real-world solutions.
ASME also announced that Oklo Inc. has joined the initiative as a Foundational Sponsor. The advanced nuclear energy company brings experience in areas such as advanced reactor development, fuel recycling, and complex infrastructure projects. Oklo's participation is expected to contribute valuable perspectives on how emerging technologies can move from concept to commercialization within highly regulated industries.
Leading up to the summit, ASME plans to host a series of webinars, roundtables, and ecosystem events through its "Road to CATALYZE" initiative, helping participants explore common challenges and opportunities before gathering in Detroit.
By bringing together stakeholders from industry, investment, technology, and policy communities, ASME aims to foster collaboration around the deployment of technologies that support economic growth, energy security, manufacturing competitiveness, and industrial innovation.
