Advancements in space, including exploration and research have seen monumental acceleration over the past couple of years with the White House, Congress, and federal agencies setting ambitious goals. Policymakers are making decisions right now that will shape the space industry for decades. They need input from the engineers who design, build, and operate these systems. That's why ASME is launching a new Space Public Policy Task Force. 

We're looking for members with expertise in space systems, propulsion, materials, robotics, and commercial space operations. Task force members will help shape ASME's positions on space policy. You'll help:  

• Bring your technical knowledge to federal decision-makers 

• Shape the positions ASME brings to Congress and federal agencies 

• Strengthen the engineering community's influence on America's future in space
