NASA Astronaut Andrew Morgan Available for Live Interviews Before he Embarks on Nine-Month Mission to the International Space Station

NASA Astronaut Andrew Morgan will be online and available for live interviews on Monday, July 1 before embarking on his first space mission to the International Space Station. Morgan will be taking questions live from Star City, Russia before he leaves for the nine-month expedition. Viewers can watch Morgan’s interviews on NASA television and the NASA website. Prior to the interviews, NASA will be showing a video of all the training Morgan had to undergo to get prepare him for his mission.

Morgan will be joined on his expedition to the ISS by his two crewmates, Alexander Skvortsov of the Russian space agency Roscosmos and Luca Parmitano of ESA (European Space Agency). They will be launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 12:28pm on July 20, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. It will take them approximately six hours to reach the ISS, where they will join Expedition 60 Commander Alexey Ovchinin of Roscosmos and Flight Engineers Nick Hague and Christina Koch of NASA
