ASME Adds Tech Growth Leader Meredith Jones as Chief Revenue Officer
NEW YORK (November 17, 2025) — The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) today announced it has added a chief revenue officer (CRO) to its executive team and named Meredith Jones to the new position. With more than 20 years of experience driving multi-billion-dollar growth at leading technology companies, Jones will drive revenue generation and revenue growth by spearheading innovative go-to-market strategies for ASME products and services. She will work closely with the executive team to ensure the purpose-driven non-profit professional society remains both financially sustainable and member-focused.
“Meredith’s proven expertise in building high-performing teams, expanding into new markets, and collaborating across sales, marketing, product design, and enablement will be instrumental as ASME accelerates its next phase of global growth,” said ASME Executive Director/CEO Tom Costabile, to whom Jones reports. “Her role is vital in ensuring ASME continues to support early career engineers, academics, and industry leaders alike in addressing the workforce gap with skills development, codes and standards, and research activities that support innovation in engineering.”
Jones has extensive leadership experience in technology, consulting and financial services organizations. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at Strelmark in Washington, DC, where she developed corporate vision and revenue strategies, secured high-value partnerships, and guided technology investments to streamline operations. Previously, Jones led go-to-market strategy for Nutanix of San Jose, Calif., driving transformational deals and accelerating customer retention and market expansion. She also served as CRO for Stealth Startup in Seattle, where she built and led a 65-person team and helped raise initial capital. Earlier in her career, Jones held senior roles at Amazon Web Services, where she was instrumental in growing annual revenue by up to $3 billion and securing some of the company’s largest enterprise deals, and at Deloitte Consulting, where she advised on multi-billion-dollar M&A transactions and technology transformations.
Jones is working towards a Ph.D. in economics and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and information technology, both at George Mason University. She is a frequent speaker at technology and finance conferences. In 2022, Jones co-founded the Valor First Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting military veterans, and continues to serve as a member of its board of directors.
