- Donating the honorarium received related to an award - An honorarium is a fee or cash prize received for a speaking engagement or award. Recipients can donate these funds to one or more of ASME's designated funds, which support various initiatives including scholarships and student programs. - Per diem donations – Many committee members choose to donate their per diem allowance to the ASME Foundation, turning their service time into a double contribution to the profession.
