With the International Space Station being placed into retirement by 2030, NASA is turning toward commercial space programs to develop and deploy the next generation of space stations.
The International Space Station will be retired from service by the end of 2030. NASA will now turn toward commercial space companies for the next generation of low-Earth orbit space stations. Blue Origin is one of the first organizations selected by NASA to develop a new space station for research and tourism, set to launch later in the decade.
