Agriculture is beginning to embrace autonomous technology as farmers move to precision farming. Its adoption extends the day in the fields but allows farmers to handle other tasks. Increasingly, they are analyzing data on weather, soil, growth of crops and weeds, and more, while autonomous machines work the fields, furrowing, applying fertilizer or other soil additives and harvesting.
