November 1st: Apply for ASME's Federal Government Fellowships in Washington, DC!

If you or someone you know has an interest in government and policy and a desire to take your engineering expertise to a new level, consider applying for one of ASME’s Federal Government Fellowships!

Over the past 50 years, ASME has sponsored more than 130 Federal Fellows, representing some of the best and brightest engineers and academics, who have served in the White House, U.S. Congress, and across federal agencies.

Fellows bring their engineering experience to an immersive experience in the creation of public policies that advance engineering, science, and technology to help solve the nation’s—and the world’s—greatest challenges.

From helping draft legislation to responding to constituents to developing strategies and policies, these 12-month fellowships are a life-changing and leadership-developing experience. Fellows depart with new professional qualifications and the satisfaction of having served the public good at the highest levels.

The fellowships are coordinated by ASME’s Government Relations personnel in Washington, D.C., and generously financially supported by the ASME Foundation. The 2023-2024 Fellowship term begins in September 2023 and extends through August 2024.

Applications open November 1, 2022 and close on January 31, 2023. To learn more about the ASME Federal Government Fellows program and apply, visit our Federal Fellows page.
