ANSI Board of Director Announces New Members for 2021

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has selected its 2021 Board of Directors, appointing Phil Piqueira, Vice President of Global Standards at Underwriters Laboratories, for a first one-year term as Chair of the ANSI Board. Claire Ramspeck, Managing Director of Standards at ASME, continues to serve as Vice Chair. ANSI’s mission is to enhance the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems and safeguarding their integrity. Its membership is comprised of businesses, professional societies and trade associations, standards developers, government agencies, and consumer and labor organizations.
