IMECE 2020 Goes Virtual and Registration is Open
The ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition® (IMECE®) is going virtual in 2020, taking place November 16-19. IMECE® is not only ASME’s largest research and development conference focused primarily on mechanical engineering but also encompasses perspectives from many engineering disciplines. Registration is now open for members at $199 and non-members at $399. Student members can attend for $99 and non-member students can attend for $149.

IMECE’s virtual experience offers a fresh approach to learning, networking, and advancing the industry, and sets the stage for meaningful connections and knowledge sharing from the comfort of your own space. With up to 20 parallel sessions running over a four-day technical program, every field is addressed, from critical advancements in mature fields to new and innovative areas of R&D. Through live chat and video conferencing features, attendees can network with leading researchers in their representative disciplines from academia, government, and industry R&D labs.

IMECE technical tracks will explore subjects like advanced manufacturing, advances in aerospace technology; biomedical and biotechnology engineering; design, systems and complexity; energy; engineering education; fluids engineering; heat transfer and thermal engineering; mechanics of solids, structures and fluids; micro- and nano-systems engineering and packaging; and safety engineering, risk and reliability analysis.

The technical program will also feature the ASME International Undergraduate Research and Design Exposition, a unique National Science Foundation (NSF) track, and a track for poster presentations.
