Video: J.N. Reddy: Honorary Membership Recipient

J.N. Reddy is a distinguished professor, Regents professor, and holder of the Oscar S. Wyatt Endowed Chair in department of mechanical engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station. He also taught at the University of Oklahoma and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His research interests include mathematical formulation and analysis of problems in applied mechanics. He is author of more than 450 journal papers and 17 books and is one of only a few researchers in engineering recognized by Thomson Reuters as a highly cited researcher.

He is an ASME fellow and is Editor in Chief of Applied Mechanics Reviews. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Alabama, Huntsville.
