Podcast: Managing Floods in Haiti

Raha Hakimdavar is a Columbia University PhD candidate in civil engineering and engineering mechanics and winner of a Fulbright research grant that allows her to work on developing a flood risk and management system for Haiti. She talks about the lack of basic information and data in the developing country that has suffered a series of natural disasters over the past decade and how a flood management program would benefit Haiti and other developing nations.
