Nuclear Quality Assurance Kick Off India International Working Group

On March 7, 2020, ASME commenced the formation of an International Working (IWG) representing India for the Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) Standards Committee. Attendees included 14 volunteers in Mumbai, including the NQA India IWG liaison, Dr. Tilak Verma. Additionally, ASME staff Jaya Jain, Business Development Head - India; Madhukar Sharma, Marketing Manager; Daniel Miro-Quesada, S&C Engineer; and Kathryn Hyam, S&C Project Engineering Manager attended. The initial meeting covered various topics including policies, procedures, expectations, as well as NQA specific material delivered by Mr. Miro-Quesada and Dr. Verma.
