Deep learning-integrated embedded sensors are revolutionizing biomedical diagnostics by combining intelligent data analytics with compact sensing platforms capable of real-time physiological monitoring. Recent advances in embedded artificial intelligence, edge computing, wearable electronics, and biomedical signal processing have enabled healthcare devices to perform accurate diagnostics directly on resource-constrained platforms, facilitating continuous patient monitoring, early disease detection, and personalized clinical decision-making.

This Special Issue aims to present the latest advances in intelligent embedded sensing technologies for biomedical diagnostics, highlighting innovations in deep learning algorithms, AI-enabled medical devices, wearable and implantable sensors, edge intelligence, biomedical signal analysis, and secure healthcare systems. It welcomes contributions addressing algorithm optimization, low-power embedded AI, explainable diagnostics, privacy-preserving healthcare, multimodal sensing, and clinical validation. The issue seeks interdisciplinary research that bridges artificial intelligence, embedded systems, biomedical engineering, and healthcare technologies to accelerate the development of scalable, reliable, and intelligent diagnostic solutions for next-generation healthcare applications.
