ASME Learning and Development (L&D) has been actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation to ensure the health and safety of our course participants, instructors, and colleagues.

The spread of Coronavirus is one of the most serious and life-altering global health security threats in decades. Our hearts go out to all who have been impacted by the outbreak, and we are deeply grateful to the thousands of emergency personnel, government officials, business leaders, and healthcare workers who are on the front lines helping all of our communities.

Many countries and states are imposing much-needed restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19, and these restrictions are also causing unprecedented disruption for our engineering learners.

Here are a few ways L&D is supporting the engineering community, and fulfilling our mission of lifelong learning:

Learn with Confidence!

Concerned about booking a course due to travel or safety risks? Or has your course already been cancelled/postponed? We've got you covered. Registrations for any course can be converted to another time, location, format, or topic. ASME will convert your full credit to any learning experience you choose within 1 year (previously 90 days) from your purchase date—no questions asked.

Face-to-Face Learning

ASME has an absolute commitment to the health and safety of our learners, instructors, and colleagues. For each upcoming public and on-site program, we will make postponement and/or cancellation decisions following up-to-date guidance from local and national government and health officials as well as any travel restrictions which will have a direct effect on the local, domestic, and international attendees for this event. We will continue to ensure that you are informed as soon as possible. If your course has already been cancelled, or if you’d like to reschedule your upcoming course, you can use your credit toward any of our eLearning courses, future Face-to-Face courses, or our new Virtual Classroom training.
