Join St. Joseph Valley Section on November 3rd for a virtual presentation on the Zero-G Refrigerator. Some of you may have seen articles online regarding efforts at Purdue University in W. Lafayette to collaborate in the development of a low gravity refrigeration system that can operate on the International Space Station, on space vessels, etc. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Leon Brendel from Purdue University who will speak about the development of a refrigerator/freezer system intended for very low gravity environments. He will tell us about the project and the challenges faced along the way.
