ASME Mid-Continent Seminar Series: Westerman Inc. Tour followed by presentation on “Separator Vessels for Oil & Gas Production” by Bill Edwards, Design Engineering Manager Abstract: Westerman, Inc., headquartered in Bremen, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of highly technical products for global energy markets, including oil and gas and nuclear. The Company was founded in 1909 and is the largest and oldest supplier of wellhead equipment east of the Mississippi River. The facility in the Port of Catoosa produces separator and heater treater vessels which are used by oil producers to separate the oil, gas and water at their well pad locations. In this session, you will visit our production facility to learn more about how the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes are used to design and fabricate the vessels. Bill Edwards is currently the Design Engineering Manager for Westerman, Inc., located in the Port of Catoosa near Tulsa. His team provides designs, fabrication drawings and engineering support for facilities located in Oklahoma and Ohio. He has an MBA and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and has worked in the manufacturing, construction and aviation industries for over 28 years. ***Event notes: Closed toe shoes are required. PPE will be provided on site. Attendees can earn 1 PDH free of charge. Number of attendees is currently limited to 15, please contact us to join the waitlist. Lunch will be provided at venue.
