Join ASME Metro Detroit to learn more about Advancement in Vehicle CAE Analysis and STEM Outreach. This is unique opportunity to hear about Automotive industry CAE trend and STEM Outreach! You will get to hear first hand from Engineers of FORD and TOYOTA about their experiences! The presentations will cover Automotive Industry STEM Outreach Programs and encourage new generation of engineers. You will learn: (1) STEM outreach and Diversity, with example of Ford Motor Company; (2) About partnerships between Professional Societies, Industry and Detroit Public School for STEM Outreach; (3) An introduction to Toyota Ravigneaux Planetary Gear Device; and (4) Use of CAE Tools for root cause analysis and design study. The virtual event will feature speakers Allison Collins, a Materials Engineer at Ford Motor Company, and Jaret Villarreal, an engineer at Toyota Motor North America R&D.
