ASME Hartford and ASME New Haven will be hosting a talk on ASME History and its role in Standards and Codes at Central Connecticut State University on February 7th from 6-9pm. Our event will kickoff with a short Networking/Coffee hour, followed by our talk, and finishing with a social hour. ASME has played a critical role in the development of Codes and Standards. Mike Roy of Hartford Steam Boiler has extensive knowledge of the subject and will be presenting a lecture on the topic. The talk will cover: what standards are, the reasons we have them, how they are created, and how they apply to ASME's standards and certifications and strategic priorities. We hope to see you there!
