ASME Florida Section: Becoming a Professional Engineer - Preparing for the Exams

This meeting is for both professional members and student members - all who are wanting to become P.E.s. This meeting is the Kick-Off to a series of meetings which will be a refresher for the P.E. exams. We will present the following: Complete information on the requirements starting with the first step which is the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and proceeding through the requirements for taking the Principles and Practice Exam; An overview of subjects covered in typical P.E. Exams; A short refresher on Engineering Economics will be presented along with a refresher on Engineering Ethics. We plan to present a follow-up series of "refresher" sessions covering topics that will be on the exams. Members and non-Members are Invited! Pre-registration should be required. (We had at last Siemens Energy Meeting). Attendees will be required to check-in with Security desk at Siemens Energy Quad 3. A Siemens Energy /ASME representative will be at Security to assist in check-in. Please come in business casual attire. Refreshments will be served! We hope you will attend!
