On Tuesday, March 7th at 7pm, the Columbia Basin Section will be hosting a special event for engineering Students and Early Career Engineers, as well as anyone else interested in the subject. Jeff Perry of More Than Engineering will be speaking to us “Going from Confusion to Clarity in your Engineering Career.” One of the biggest questions asked at events for Students and Early Career Engineers is “What’s it like to be an engineer?” and “What can I expect when I’m an engineer?” Jeff will answer those questions as well as Discuss the wide variety of options MEs have for their careers, The importance of career clarity - what it is and how to find it, How career clarity improves your chances of finding a great career opportunity, How to build your foundation of career clarity into a system that creates career growth, and more! Jeff Perry has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from BYU, an MBA from the University of Washington, and has worked for companies large and small in software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering and leadership. Jeff now serves as the founder of More Than Engineering where he serves as a leadership and career expert for engineers and technical professionals, helping them make intentional career upgrades. He loves helping people level up mindset, get clarity, and execute on their biggest goals!
