ASME to Conduct Training Sessions at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017

ASME will be conducting two training sessions in the education track at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 in Las Vegas, NV on March 7-11, 2017. CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the international gathering for construction industries convening every three years. The event features exhibits of the latest innovations in construction equipment, products, and services. Along with exhibits, the event also features extensive educational tracks covering a multitude of construction related topics. The ASME B30 Cranes and P30 Planning for Load Handling Activities standards will be highlighted within the Cranes, Rigging, and Aerial Lifts education track in two sessions.

The Responsibilities of Onsite Personnel for Cranes session, held on March 8, will review the responsibilities and what their roles are on the job site as outlined in the ASME B30 standards.

The Planning Load Moves: ASME P30.1 and its Practical Application session, held on March 9, will offer an introduction to the ASME P30.1 standard and an interactive problem solving workshop showing how to identify the proper equipment and methods needed for a unique load handling assignment.
