ASME - U.S. Coast Guard Workshop on Marine Technology and Standards

On October 16-17, 2017, ASME and the United States Coast Guard will host the 5th ASME-U.S. Coast Guard Workshop on Marine Technology and Standards in Washington D.C. The theme of this year’s workshop is: Optimizing Marine Energy Resources. This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for classification societies, industry groups, standards development organizations, governments and interested members of the public to gather for a technical exchange on areas of technology impacting the marine industry. In addition, leading experts will present on topics supporting facilitating acquisition, transport and use of energy resources, in areas such as the Artic, Gulf of Mexico, and Outer Continental Shelf. A call for papers is currently open, with abstracts due May 1, 2017.
