ASME Journal to Receive Impact Factor

NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2016 – Journal of Micro and Nano-Manufacturing, a publication of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), has been selected for inclusion in a Thomson Reuters international database of leading scholarly journals.

Journal of Micro and Nano-Manufacturing will be covered in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science™ Core Collection, a renowned citation database which lists more than 12,700 technical journals spanning varied professional fields and disciplines.

Users of Web of Science employ the powerful database as a search tool to track prior research, analyze trends, identify researchers and business leaders, and gain insights into emerging technologies.  Journal of Micro and Nano-Manufacturing will be indexed and abstracted in Thomson Reuters’ new Emerging Sources Citation Index, which will allow the ASME publication to enjoy increased visibility and credibility in emerging scientific fields.

Journal of Micro and Nano-Manufacturing compiles scholarly peer-reviewed papers focusing on theoretical and applied research in the areas of micro- and nano-manufacturing related to process innovation, accuracy and precision, material utilization, compact equipment development, environmental and life-cycle analysis, and predictive modeling of manufacturing processes.

The Society’s Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications is also cited in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science Core Collection.
