India Pipeline Award

The India Pipeline Award is awarded by the ASME Pipeline Systems Division specifically intended for projects, product(s), services, innovation, technology or individuals actively involved in the Pipeline services and shall be awarded during the IMECE India, Pipeline Track.

 

The IPA recognizes the pipeline technology innovation process in all phases; from the research laboratory through field applications; from technology incubators to development of markets for new products; from government agencies to private companies; and from individual projects to the consolidation of research and development results.

 

The PSD aims for the Award to:

  • promote progress and foster international cooperation in the field of Pipeline Systems Engineering, with an emphasis on India. Applications from any Asian country may be considered;
  • support achievements in pipeline engineering education;
  • encourage the timely exchange of information among researchers and engineers;
  • promote technical activities, including conferences, in the field of Pipeline Technology;
  • promote safety and the public welfare;
  • promote pipeline education and demonstrate the enhancement pipelines provide to society;
  • promote global environment preservation;
  • promote public recognition of the pipeline industry; and
  • Promote ASME & PSD activities in the region.
