| Limitations: | At the time of nomination, nominees working in industry, national laboratories, or non–tenure-track academic positions must be within eight years of receiving their first Ph.D. Nominees in tenure-track positions must be pre-tenure. Nominators are not allowed to nominate current students or postdocs. Self-nominations are discouraged. |
