Ravindra Giriraj Bhardwajm, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, USA. His main areas of interest are Computer-Aided Design (CAD), engineering design, simulation, energy harvesting, thermoelectric materials, nanomaterials, and sustainable energy technologies.
Professor Bhardwaje has extensive teaching experience in CAD, engineering graphics and design, materials science, renewable energy, and machine design. He has a strong interest in practical and project-based learning and uses tools such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and COMSOL to help students connect engineering theory with real-world applications. He also develops hands-on projects, design activities, quizzes, presentations, and demonstrations as part of his teaching.
His research focuses on thermoelectric energy harvesting, waste-heat recovery, nanomaterials, MEMS, flexible electronics, and renewable energy. He has published in more than 15 international peer-reviewed journals and works on developing practical solutions for energy and sustainability challenges.
