Mechanisms and Robotics Committee Best Paper Award

Purpose: This award recognizes the best paper presented at the annual Mechanisms and Robotics Conference, held as part of the ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences (IDETC). The MR Honors and Awards Subcommittee shall be responsible for selecting, if appropriate, a manuscript to receive recognition as the Best Paper presented at the Mechanisms and Robotics Conference. The Award shall consist of a suitably embossed ASME Certificate and a cash prize of $1,000 which will be presented at the Conference Luncheon.
Evaluation: This award shall be given for significant original contribution to the field of mechanism design or theory as represented by a paper presented at the Mechanisms and Robotics Conference. The manuscript designated to receive this award shall be selected prior to the conference. It may have multiple authors but at least one of the authors must be a corporate member of ASME. If there are multiple authors each will receive a certificate and the cash price will be shared equally among the authors.
