IDETC/CIE is the world's leading design research conference with over 2,000 attendees and over 1,000 technical presentations. IDETC/CIE is a unique forum that consists of 15 sub-conferences each designed to provide cutting edge research in a particular focus or discipline of design engineering. These technical conferences provide a forum for the sharing of recent research results and industrial findings and also provide attendees with a superb opportunity for networking within and between academia, government, and industry. Papers accepted and presented at the conference will be published in the official conference proceedings. The overall conference includes keynote and invited plenary lectures, lively panel discussions and workshops encompassing a wide array of topics related to engineering design and manufacturing as well as the use of computers in engineering.
