Conference Registration Information

We are pleased to invite participants from around the world to register for the International Conference on Nanochannels, Microchannels, and Minichannels (ICNMM 2017). Online registration will allow you the opportunity to make changes and additions to your registration as necessary until Monday, August 27, 2017.

Author/Presenter Requirement
Each accepted paper and poster must have at least one listed author registered at the Full Conference Author/Presenter fee in order to be presented. In addition, accepted papers mst be presented during the conference by an author/co-author to be included in the official conference proceedings. Substitute presenters are now allowed.

Please be advised the Conference Secretariat will:

  • Check to ensure all papers have an author registered to present.
  • eview all papers to ensure that a registered author has been identified as presenting that paper. Notification will be sent to the presenting author of a paper if one of the paper authors is not registered and identified as presenting that paper.

Registration Fees Categories

Member Rate is applicable to a member of ASME

Non-Member Rate includes a one year complimentary ASME membership. ASME will contact you after the Conference to provide further details.

Student Rate Requirements and Qualifications: A minimum of one author must be registered at the full Conference rate unless all authors are students; then the student rate applies. Student registration rates are only available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time and have not yet received their Ph.D. Post-docs may not regsiser as students.

Proof of student status is required to confirm the student rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student's identification card or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying student status. Please send documentation to the Registration Manager at Orchid Event Solutions via the contact information listed at the bottom of the page. If proof of student status is not received within two weeks of registering, the Student Rate will be invalid and the Non-Member rate will apply.

One-Day Rate is applicable to members and non-members attending the Conference for one day, with the date of attendance specified during the registration process.

The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received. Regular registration fees will be charged onsite for any unpaid pre-registrations. The deadline for pre-Conference registration is, Friday, July 21, 2017. Registrations will also be accepted onsite.

Confirmation & Receipt

All payments are due in USD. Registration fees are determined by when payment is received. Registrants who pay their registration fee after Friday, July 21, 2017 will be charged the regular registration fees.

A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. If you submitted payment by credit card, a receipt will be included. If you wish to pay by wire transfer, an invoice will be sent to you via email once you have completed your online registration.

Payment Method: Individuals with incomplete registrations will not be able to complete registration and attend the conference until payment has been made. ASME accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover – Checks and Wire Transfer are also acceptable if received and pro essed at least 7 days before the start of a conference. On Site registration accepts only cash and credit card.

Conference and Social Cancellation & Refund Policy: Requests for conference registration fee refunds must be received at least 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund, less an administration fee of $100 for the Conference and a fee of $50 for the banquet and accompanying persons program. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after Friday, July 28, 2017.

Presenter Policy Paper & Poster Presentation: Each accepted paper and poster must have at least one listed author registered at the Full Conference Author/Presenter fee in order to be presented. In addition, accpeted papers mst be presented during the conference by an author to be included in the official conference proceedings.

Presenter Substitutions: Each paper has a primary author identified who is responsible to present the paper at the conference. Should the primary author not be available to present the paper, a co-author may be nominated to present the paper as a substitution. Any proposed substitution must be approved in advance by the conference chair and must notify the Event Management staff in advance of the presentation.

Substitutions: Registrations may not be transfeered or substituted at any time.

Author/Presenter Attendance Policy: According to ASME's presenter attendance policy, if a paper is not presented by an author/co-author at the Conference, the paper will not be published in the official archival Proceedings, which are registered with the Library of Congress and abstracted and indexed. It will also not be published in the ASME Digital Collection and may not be cited as a published paper. Substitute presenters are not allowed.

Wheelchair Access and Special Assistance: If you require special assistance please indicate your requirements during the registration process.

Dietary Requirements: Please identify your dietary requirements during the registration process so that we can make arrangements in advance.

Insurance and Liability: Participants take part in ICNMM 2017 at their own risk and need to make their own health and travel insurance arrangements.

Language: The official language of the Conference is English.
