CEO of The Planetary Society and the 2012 recipient of ASME’s Ralph Coats Roe Medal for communicating about engineering, Bill Nye the Science Guy talks about the importance of STEM and the need for more women in science. “Science is the best idea humans have ever had. Half of the humans are women, so half of the scientists ought to be women,” he says in this video filmed at the fourth annual White House Science Fair.
