Turbo Expo’s Technical Session Schedule is Now Live
ASME’s Turbomachinery Technical Conference & Exposition (Turbo Expo) will take place June 7-11, 2021. This five-day virtual event focuses on the entire field of turbomachinery, including thought leaders from a variety of industries, academia, research and development, and new products and innovations. In today’s rapidly changing power and propulsion industry, there is a need to develop and introduce new technologies--artificial intelligence, data analytics, virtual reality, rapid machining, rapid testing, and additive manufacturing--more quickly and at a lower cost. Turbo Expo provides both researchers and industry professionals from the entire power and propulsion community with a unique virtual platform to listen, collaborate, discuss, and learn from leaders who are using new technologies to become more agile and meet current and future challenges. Turbo Expo’s technical session schedule is now live. The event will feature a discussion on inlets, ducts and boundary layer ingestion including multiple deep dive talks and rapid talk with five authors. Live deep talks will include 30-minute presentations with 10 minutes of Q&A per paper and rapid talks will include 10-minute presentations with two minutes of Q&A per paper. There will be opportunities to ask each author questions after each session at the event allowing attendees to connect more with the industry professionals.
