Save the Date: ASME Robotics Industry Event Set for Texas This Fall

ASME will hold the Robotics for Inspection & Maintenance event again this fall in College Station, Texas. The event, which will have the theme “Bridging the Gap Between the Expert and Asset,” is scheduled to take place Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2020.

The event is designed as a venue for engineers, technical experts and business professionals in the oil and gas, chemical, pipeline, power generation, and other industries to interact with robotics experts and learn how their businesses could deploy robotics technologies for inspection and maintenance.

The event will provide participants — including asset owners, robotic inspection and robotics maintenance providers, and developers of mobile robot/UAS, software/data analytics, and sensor/camera/end effector OEM technology — with a unique combination of live demonstrations, presentations and expert discussions to help businesses optimize inspection, maintenance, and repair while improving safety and lowering costs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to find out about the latest robotics technology for improved safety, increased speed, improved accuracy, and cost savings; watch live demonstrations of unmanned aerial systems and mobile robots on vessels, distillation columns, and other asset props; and become acquainted with best practices for applications, leveraging data and analytics, and gaining trust in predictive maintenance.

Registration for Robotics for Inspection & Maintenance will be available soon. Visit https://event.asme.org/Robotics for more information and to sign up for event updates.
