Video: Adrian Bejan: Honorary Membership Recipient

Adrian Bejan has spent more than 40 years as a mechanical engineer, pioneering numerous original methods in thermodynamics and authoring more than 530 peer-reviewed journal articles and 25 books. He came to the U.S. from Romania after winning a national contest to study engineering abroad, and received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

He is a fellow of ASME, served on a number of Heat Transfer Division committees, and was a member of the Advanced Energy Systems Division's Systems Analysis Technical Committee (AESD). He is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education. Bejan has received numerous awards from ASME and holds 16 honorary doctorates from universities in 11 countries.
