Join ASME Philadelphia at our Annual Awards Night and Exposition, where we showcase student design projects from the area's finest engineering programs, honor our sustaining members, and recognize outstanding service to the ASME community. This year, our Keynote Speaker is Alex McBride, a Research Analyst on the Advanced Industries Knowledge Team with McKinsey and Company, who covers global developments in electric vehicle and mobility transformation. He is intensely curious about advancing the frontiers of technology and business to shape our world for the better. He has a particular interest in sustainable energy and decarbonizing advanced industries. Alex has a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Drexel. During his time at Drexel, Alex completed co-ops with Apple Inc. on the iPhone Display Team and Merck KGaA’s Performance Materials business unit.
