Description

Coordination Drawings are often overlooked as a key component to a successful project. It is most common to find coordination requirements in the project specifications although the language is not very consistent from project-to-project. Poorly written specifications lead to missed opportunities for better performance for all stakeholders and deserve a closer look. While the key buzzword in the industry is clash detection there is much more to the process. There are 2D and 3D workflows, verification of existing conditions, coordination meetings, drawing standards, schedules, sequencing, and much more. During this session we’ll investigate the reasons why this specification can have a significant impact on your team. Whether it's avoidable change orders, delays, or just preserving client relationships, this session will help you understand the key components to a well written coordination specification and open some possibilities for improvement. Presented by Greg A.M. Hale, PE, BIM Execution Coach Hale TIP. 1 PDH (pending approval). Join us for this free event!
