IMECE 2019 Abstract Deadline Approaching

Abstracts are now being accepted for the ASME 2019 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE 2019) — the world’s largest interdisciplinary mechanical engineering conference. Authors who would like their technical papers to be considered for presentation at IMECE 2019, which will take place from Nov. 8 to 14 at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, have until Feb. 25 to submit abstracts.

The IMECE 2019 technical program will encompass 17 technical tracks spanning a range of engineering subjects including biomedical and biotechnology engineering; design, reliability, safety and risk; advanced manufacturing; dynamics, vibration and control; aerospace technology; energy; materials (genetics to structures); engineering education; micro- and nano-systems engineering and packaging; heat transfer and thermal engineering; acoustics, vibration and phononics; fluids engineering; mechanics of solids, structures and fluids; and design, systems and complexity.

IMECE organizers are also accepting abstracts for three poster sessions that will be offered during the conference: the ASME International Undergraduate Research and Design Expo, the National Science Foundation (NSF) Student Competition and the Virtual Podium.

Authors must submit their abstracts online at www.asmeconferences.org/IMECE2019/login.cfm by Feb. 25. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by March 18 and their full-length manuscripts must be submitted by April 29.
