Editor: G. E. Otto Widera, Marquette University.
The Journal of Pressure Vessel Technology provides the highest-quality research on the design, fabrication, construction, inspection, operation, and failure prevention of power boilers, heating boilers, pressure vessels, piping, pipelines, pumps, valves, and other pressure-bearing components-as well as nondestructive evaluation of critical components and in-service inspection through NDE in mechanical engineering applications.
The Journal covers pressure vessel and piping codes and standards, and design and anlysis of pressure vessels, piping, and components. Special areas of interest include: dynamic and seismatic analysis; equipment qualification; fabrication; fatigue and fracture prediction; finite and boundary element methods; fluid-structure interaction; high pressure engineering; elevated temperature analysis and design; inelastic analysis; life extension; lifeline earthquake engineering; PVP materials; property databases; metals and non-metals; NDE; safety and reliability; and verification and qualification of software.
