ASME's personal email alias is an exclusive member benefit that identifies you as an ASME member with an @asme.org email address while forwarding all incoming mail to your personal email account. All incoming emails are filtered by Postini, ASME's email security services provider. Mail attachments are scanned for viruses using McAfee - a premier provider of anti-virus software. Suspected spam and virus-infected emails are quarantined in Postini's inbox, where you can view, delete, or forward these messages to your inbox.

Such services can cost as much as $30 per year, but are available to ASME members for free!

ASME is providing this service to our members in response to the growing problem of unsolicited and virus-infected email messages. If you are a member who has an asme.org email alias, then you have already been activated. ASME has contracted these services for our members from Postini, a top provider of email security services.

The ASME Email Alias is easy to sign up for and easy to update. No matter how many times you change careers or personal email service providers, your email address will always stay the same.

Login to "Members Only" to add or update your email alias

• To Login, you will need to supply your last name and your membership ID number. After you have logged in, you will see the link on the right side of the page under "ASME MEMBER FEATURES".
• If you would like ASME staff to update your alias manually, please contact the webmaster . Remember to include your last name, membership ID number, your alias address and the desired forwarding address. Please allow 1 business day for manual changes to occur.
• You will need to have "cookies enabled" on your browser to use Members Only.

About the Alias
