Taking Engineering to New Heights
As Boeing ratchets up its aircraft production to eliminate backlogs and fill new orders for its much-in-demand 737 airliner, CIO Kim Hammonds is helping the aircraft manufacturer hit its ambitious new targets. With a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Michigan and 16 years at the Ford Motor Company, she is now leading the construction of IT-driven programs, and her 8,115-member global team is adding to the bottom line.
