ASME Seeks New Faces of Mechanical Engineering

Be the New Face of Mechanical Engineering -- Both Engineering Professionals and Students receive recognition as part of the annual celebratory E-Week (February 19-25, 2012).

Tell ASME your story! The New Faces of Engineering program strives to promote the accomplishments of young engineers by highlighting their engineering contributions and the resulting impact on society.

 

HOW DO YOU GET RECOGNIZED?

For Professionals

You've got to be 30 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2011; have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited U.S. college or university, or from an equivalent international educational institution; be a current member of ASME.

Nominate yourself, or a worthy colleague, today.

For Students

Engineering students in their 3rd, 4th, and 5th year as of September 1, 2011, demonstrating academic excellence (3.0 or higher); enrolled in a Bachelors of Science Engineering program from an ABET accredited U.S. college or university, or an equivalent international education institution; be a
current student member of ASME.

Applications will be available starting September 6 – October 21 on the New Faces college edition Facebook page. In addition to the honor of recognition and networking opportunities, ASME will offer a scholarship to the selected candidate.
