Ren Anderson, manager, Residential Buildings Research Group, NREL, discusses energy-saving strategies for retrofitting existing buildings using new technologies.
At NREL's Residential Buildings Research Group, Dr. Anderson manages a cross-cutting team of 30 scientists and engineers that evaluates the effects of innovative energy systems on residential energy demand and energy use. He received a B.S. in engineering physics and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado.
