The development of nanotechnologies for nanomedical applications has gained momentum in recent years. In this video, Gang Bao, Robert A. Milton Chair in Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering Distinguished Professor at the Wallace H. Coulter Dept. of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, talks about nanomedicine and its potential applications in disease studies.
Dr. Bao earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering and his M.S. in applied mechanics at Shandong Polytechnic University. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Lehigh University. His current research is focused on nanomedicine, including the development of fluorescence imaging probes and MRI contrast agents for biological and medical applications.
