Training Venues
ASME Training & Development courses are held in quality training venues, selected for accessibility, quality of facilities and hospitality services. Maps and directions for each location can be found on the venues’/hotels’ websites, and will be confirmed to delegates prior to their attendance at their chosen course.

Course Schedule
Registration starts at 07:30. Courses run from 08:30 to 17:00 unless otherwise noted.

Accommodation
Delegates are responsible for making, paying and cancelling their own hotel reservations. Priority rate hotel rooms have been secured at the training venues or in hotels very close by. Instructions on how to book your hotel room are sent with the confirmation of the course registration.

Payments of registration fees
All payments must be remitted in Euros and must be received prior to the course by credit card or wire transfer. Participants with outstanding payments will be asked for a proof of payment or a credit card guarantee upon their arrival at the registration desk. If none of these can be supplied, the delegate will be refused permission to attend the course.

For wire transfer payments: after registering, the delegate will receive an invoice, which will include all the necessary details regarding the transfer. Any bank charges involved will be the delegate’s responsibility: additional fees that will be charged by the delegate's bank must be included in the total funds transfer, in addition to the course registration fee. All bank transfers should reach ASME Europe Training & Development Registration Services within 14 days after receipt of invoice to secure the delegate's seat.

Confirmation of Registration
A confirmation letter will be sent to all participants upon receipt of full payment of registration fees along with a complete outline of the course content one week prior to the course start date.

Rates
Training course registration fee includes full training programme, course material, coffee breaks and lunches. Please be aware that all indicated rates for the courses are exclusive VAT. The following VAT rates per country apply: Denmark 25%, Italy 20%, The Netherlands 19%, Spain 18%.

Discounts
Delegates must declare their eligibility for a discount at the time of making the initial reservation. The following discounts apply:

  • ASME Members: Preferential ASME membership rates apply
  • Partner Association: A discount of €100 per course applies for members of partner associations. A full list of partner associations for each training event can be found online or by calling ASME Europe Training & Development: + 32 2 743 1543.
  • Group Reservation Discount: Send three people to the same course and save 10%. Send two people to the same course and save 5%. Groups must register at the same time. For group registrations, send an email to ASME Training and Development: EuropeTraining@asme.org
  • Webinar Credit: If you have registered for a Webinar with the ASME EMEA office, the fees you have paid will be reimbursed or deducted from your public course registration.

Cancellations and Amendments
All cancellations must be sent to the ASME Europe Office Registration Service, in writing (by fax, letter or email), four weeks before the course to cancel, amend or change your bookings. For cancellations received until four weeks before your selected course, an administrative fee of € 100 (+ VAT) will be charged. After this date, no refunds will be given. Refunds will be made after the training course, in the same manner as the original payment was received.

Liability
In case of government intervention or regulation, military activity, strikes or other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for any of these courses to take place at the time and place provided, delegates will waive any claim for damages or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of actual expenses incurred in connection with the training.
There shall be no future liability on the part of either party.

Travel
ASME is not responsible for the purchase of non-refundable airline/train tickets or the fees associated with cancelling or changing travel arrangements. Please contact ASME to confirm that the course is running before purchasing tickets. ASME retains the right to cancel a course until three weeks prior to the scheduled presentation date.

Visas and Letters of Invitation
If you require a letter of invitation for the ASME Training & Development Course as part of a visa application, you must submit a written request to ASME Europe Office via email or fax. Please note that only after full payment of your registration fees ASME will provide an official invitation letter.

Accreditation – CEUs and PDHs
ASME is a member of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). ASME Training & Development is certified to award CEUs and PDHs to attendees participating in ASME training. Accredited CEUs and PDHs meet the requirements for professional licensure, although specific requirements vary per country. You are invited to check your local requirements.

You will receive a certificate on completion of your course, indicating the number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) which you received, and you must be present for the entire course to receive a certificate. CEUs can also be applied towards ASME Certificate Programmes.
