Mechanical Engineering has shaped our lives and the world around us through numerous contributions in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing, food processing, aviation and much more. This site will serve as a means to familiarize you with mechanical engineering history by providing meaningful historical resources, both ASME and non-ASME related, and by exploring the past achievements of mechanical engineers, through ASME’s landmarks program.
