The District H covers a large territory; Europe, Israel, Turkey and Russia.
In order to consider the wide and rich ranges of cultures, languages, social
and economic situations, we decided that each section chair and all the active
country corresponds are part of the District Operating Board.

Historical Landmarks
The Pilatusbahn,
the world's steepest cog railroad, was designated a landmark on September
21, 2002, atop Mount Pilatus, near Lake Lucerne, Switzerland.
Designated an ASME landmark in 1998,the Paddle
Steamer Uri (1901 Lake Lucerne), is the oldest surviving paddle
steamboat with a diagonal compound engine.
Neuchatel
Gas Turbine (1939) - world's first successful electricity-generating
gas turbine to go into commercial operation. Designated a landmark September
1988, Neuchatel, Switzerland. |
