Nuclear, and Petrochemical Industries

Crowne Plaza Seattle / Seattle, WA

SYMPOSIUM
April 3-5, 2018

CALL FOR PAPERS

Abstract Due Date:
October 13, 2017

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is sponsoring the Symposium on Elevated Temperature Applications of Materials for Fossil, Nuclear, and Petrochemical Industries April 3-5, 2018 in Seattle, Washington, at the Crowne Plaza Seattle.

This symposium will provide a unique opportunity for those involved in the fossil, nuclear, and petrochemical industries, standards development organizations and government, and those interested members of the public to come together for a professional exchange of information. The focus will be on how best to develop new and/or revise and upgrade current design, fabrication and construction practices of pressure equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels and piping components that will operate at elevated temperatures where materials will be subject to creep, creep-fatigue, embrittlement, and environmental effects.

Submit an Abstract
Experts who are engaged in Fossil, Nuclear and Petrochemical Industries with experience in high temperature applications of materials are invited to submit an abstract of up to 400 words. Showcase your organization’s research and capabilities at this industry-leading symposium.

Indexing and Discovery
All ASME Conferences Proceedings are submitted for indexing to Scopus, Compendex, ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and other major indexers. In addition, all ASME Conference papers are discoverable through Google Scholar search and all other major search engines. Indexing publishers are independent organizations and determine which and when conference proceedings are indexed.

Abstract Tracks

  • Materials Properties of Candidate Materials
  • Fabrication, Construction, and Heat Treatment Methods
  • Failure Mechanisms in Elevated Temperature Regime
