Eligibility and Submission Guidelines

ASME Innovative Design Simulation Challenge (IDSC) is open to all Mechanical Engineering, multidisciplinary engineering and technology undergraduate students worldwide. The student must be enrolled as an undergraduate in a baccalaureate or associate engineering/engineering technology degree program (Freshman – Senior level) at any time during the present academic year. All Competitors agree to abide by the Engineering Code of Ethics, with particular attention to Canons #2 and #7.

The competition is open to individuals and teams of no more than three members. There is no limit to the number of entries from a university. However the design submission must be authorized by a Faculty member team advisor from the university. An individual student may participate on only one team. Each team may only have one entry.
